Hello all. Feel free to sign the wall and say hello!
It’s that time of year when I feel more alive than ever — autumn or, best known as, fall. Soon enough we’ll have winter when I feel like hibernating for several months, only coming out when spring arrives. But guess what? God made them all, that’s why they’re called seasons. I’m coming to understand a little better why God made them all and what their purpose is for me. How about you?
I miss you all so much!…I need to hold my name back because of my shame…
I don’t know who you are but never feel too ashamed to return to people who love you! One of the most wonderful gifts of God is forgiveness!
How right you are, Ruth. We are all in need of forgiveness! Christ took care of it on the Cross! Won’t you let us welcome you back in His name? The fact that you feel ashamed tells me that you realize your sin and want forgiveness. It’s waiting for you!
Hi all!
Nice site!
Here it is, autumn, my favorite time of year. Not too warm, not too cool and the beauty of God’s creation evident everywhere! It is hard to believe that the reason the leaves are so beautiful and colorful is because they are dying! It reminds me of the “beauty” found in the death of Jesus. Through His suffering and horrific death we are able to have beautiful lives. Praise God for the resurrection!
A M E N!!
From what I’ve heard, you guys seem different from other churches.
I believe we are, Brother 916. Why not come and see for yourself? The welcome mat is always out to everyone. God Bless!
God is good, He is all knowing He knows the outcome before we do. But we can trust in Him. Life is not easy! Jesus never promised us it would be! But we serve a very big God who can handle all our emotions!
Better yet brother Davew let’s roll out the red carpet! Actually, recently, I invited the oil man to come visit our church after he received Christ – no pressure.
I said “Don’t worry we won’t ‘bible bash’ you or anything…it’s just that…and I blurted out- “WE’RE HAVIN’ A PARTY AND YOU’RE INVITED”! Heh! It came from my heart, I really meant it! He liked that. We love Jesus, we love others, we’re filled with joy – it’s catchy stuff! So by all means those of you who are feeling a ‘nudge’ to come by – fear not – we totally welcome you! God’s got good plans for you my friend and he just might want to unfold those plans right in our midst. Cool!
Just a few days until 2009…and just a few days more until New Hope’s 21st Birthday! I can’t thank God enough for all He’s done here at the Chapel. And I can’t thank each of you enough for the parts you play in this church family! May God bless us with another 21 years of His grace!
Our current sermon series on Truth has really struck a chord with us as a church. Seeing the world through God’s eyes is a refreshing and awe-inspiring thing. For any of you out there not familiar with “The Truth Project”…check it out. We’re focusing on it in our small groups and sermons and have been loving it!
It is the day after another New England snow storm. It’s cold and most everyone is complaining about the weather and how they can’t wait for spring. I know I am! We are impatient people. We want what we want when we want it! Yet God is so patient with us! If God ever lost his patience with me I know that I would be in BIG TROUBLE! He is merciful and patient with me even as I struggle to trust Him. I DO trust Him, I just struggle in my impatience!I pray that God will continue to be patient with me as I grow in my faith and trust in Him. Spring is coming; God promised!
I was just listening to the song Praise Him in the Storm by Casting Crowns and it got me to thinking about the storms in my life and real nature storms. I love thunderstorms! As long as I know I am safe, I love the flashes of lightening and the claps of thunder that make me jump! I especially like the way the world looks when they are over. All clean and fresh smelling! That’s kind of how it is during life storms. Even though I’m going through a hard time, I know that I am safe because God is taking care of me and I know He loves me. Then when the hard time has passed I can look around and see how God, in His love and caring, has gotten me through it all! I pray that I will always be able to praise Him through the storms!
I just want to thank all of you at New Hope for your open-arms style of faith…you embrace me, each other, new friends, and strangers with a special kind of love and I know that God is pleased with you…and I am proud to be a part of a people who love so deeply…you’re the best! Keep the faith!
I just wanted to say “HI!” to everyone at New Hope. God is good all the time! Those of you who are going through difficult struggles,do not despair,God is with you! He will never leave you or forsake you! Cling to His promises tenaciously. He is going to bring you through this time and you will be stronger in the Lord. Never give up! Every one of us should give Him thanks and praise for all His grace and mercy He showers upon us. God truly is awesome!!
I miss you all, hope all is well. You’re in my thoughts and prayers.
We miss you as well Nick. Hope all is well with you and Tracey. Little Conor is absolutely adorable! God Bless!
New Hope is in my prayers. You have all left an impression on my heart that will be with me forever! It’s been a few years since I’ve seen you all. God bless you, and it sounds like God continues working through NHCC. I love your website!!
