This is what being a missional church means to us...
For Sally, being on mission means sharing the healing, joy, freedom, and power that she experiences in prayer with others who seek to grow in their intimacy with God.
Bob had been feeling frustrated by his job for years, but as he served with New Hope God began to show him a way he could begin a new career creating a generosity-based construction business where he can love and serve and share God's love!"
What began for her as occassionally helping out at Brockton's L Street Homeless Ministry has become a way of life. Every week she now finds herself showing God's love by cooking up food, soup, and delicious meals for the Saturday lunch ministry.
After 50 years of pastoring several churches, he has found God providing him a personal mission of teaching the Bible and theology to younger believers, passing on all the wonderful things he's been taught to the next generation.
“And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people.
